As a solo traveler, I loved the price/quality ratio and the convenient location of this hostel. the 24/7 reception allowed me to check-in late after my flight and leave early in the morning for my next flight. the frequent bus service to Tegel made transportation easy, and the bar downstairs offered a great variety of beers. the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place were impressive, and the staff was helpful and fluent in English. a reasonable price, clean facilities, and a convenient location made my stay enjoyable.

I felt welcomed throughout my stay and had nothing to complain about.

The hostel has a convenient location if you fly from Tegel airport, as it is really close to the U-bahn metro. It takes only about 5-6 minutes to reach the metro station by walking. Additionally, there is a bus stop to the airport nearby, making transportation easy and hassle-free. The rooms are neat and the bathrooms are clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel also offers a nice bar with friendly and attentive staff, serving good draught beer.

The internet connection is quite poor, only available in the lobby where there is a lot of noise and loud music.

The room was spacious, cozy, and had its own sink, plus there were lockers available; the breakfast spread was excellent and offered a variety of affordable options.

Close to the subway, 10 minutes on foot... It's a good common area.

    Small enough rooms.

I recently stayed at Amstel House in Berlin for a 5-day solo trip. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel right at home. The hostel's cleanliness and spacious private room exceeded my expectations. The bar and lounge area provided a great space to socialize and make new friends. The location, close to Tegel Airport, was convenient and easy to access. I had an amazing experience at Amstel House and I can't wait to return to Berlin in October!

I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, cleanliness, and friendly staff.

Rooms were perfectly clean and airy, well done!

The venue was great, I truly enjoyed the stay and the location was magnificent short walk to two metros and nearby vegan cafe and pubs and bars, U-bahn station and a quiet neighbourhood close to U-Bahn. All the staff was fairly friendly and attentive. There were nice beds and central heating, an electronic key card and a work desk inside the room. The great breakfast had a huge variety of meals and the food I tasted was cheap. It was real good 4 days, will certainly stay here again🙂

Good location, close to a metro station, central station and many sights (you can walk to Tiergarten, it's awesome). The room was pretty clean, wi-fi worked fine, the staff was also quite nice.

It can be a really noisy place. The rules do say to keep quiet after 22:00 but we all know how young people love to follow rules. I was unlucky enough to have some teens on my floor, running and screaming in the corridors till midnight until their group leader or something came to hush them.
